Road Forum 2017: International Vision
Road Forum 2017 introduces more plenary sessions and thus more common inspiration for conference participants. The conference is visited by a number of international speakers and it supports the news value. As usual, Road Forum offers more than 100 posts and workshops.

When the Road Forum 2017 is launched on 6 December at Hotel Nyborg Strand, it's as usual: We offer more than 100 posts and workshops and a large and varied company exhibition. And of course, space for discussion and professional networking with colleagues and collaborators. As an innovation in Road Forum, we introduce two parallel plenary sessions in the morning day two, thus allocating more time for joint inspiration and view on the sector's tasks. Plenary sessions have a couple of exciting international speakers. Likewise, several smaller sessions on Road Forum have foreign researchers and business representatives on the program. In this way we would like to support Road Forum's newsworthiness and ensure that we gain insight into the latest knowledge and research at a time when development is driving top speed. The foreign insiders put Focus on digitization, collaboration models, mobility and robotics. A post also focuses on Danish projects abroad and the competencies needed to succeed in the international market.

When we meet in December, the municipal elections are just over and new politicians are chosen for a 4-year period. Road Forum provides the opportunity for us to debate how the road and traffic sector can support and contribute to sustainable development focusing on mobility, transport, business development and road safety. Yes, it's about budgets, but also about where we, as a fan of interaction with other welfare sectors, can help create the most value for the money invested. It is documented that Infrastructure is important for productivity and mobility, and therefore there is a perspective that we have a closer dialogue with politicians and professionals from other sectors. Keywords such as interdisciplinary, storytelling, creativity, new technology, better communication and citizenship are the direction for where we as professionals should focus.

Are we going to Road Forum 2017 6th and 7th of December for an exciting conference on the topic "Roads, People and Technology"?
